Symbols of the Recession

Friends,

As the Great Recession continues there are far too few unemployed workers fighting for jobs and decent benefits.  However, the Philadelphia Unemployment Project has been working to raise the demand for action to respond to the economy.  A recent PUP rally has been a symbol of the unemployed in action.  Here are a few of the AP photos that have been published in dozens of newspapers and blogs  around the country.
