More money goes to Pa. home loan program
PHILADELPHIA - May 9, 2011 (WPVI) -- A program designed to help Pennsylvanians struggling to fend off foreclosure now has more money in its coffers.
Senator Bob Casey and Congressman Chakah Fattah were in City Hall on Monday promoting EHLP, the Emergency Home Loan Program.
$105 million in federal funding is being poured into the program.
It provides two years of mortgage payments to QUALIFIED homeowners without a job.
