Foreclosure Protest Being Taken To DC

PHILADELPHIA - Three Philadelphia homeowners are headed to Washington, D.C., on Tuesday to try to save their homes.

They're calling on the Department of Housing and Urban Development to move quickly to implement the new emergency homeowner loan program.

The program was passed last July and offers bridge loans to homeowners facing foreclosure.

Philadelphia halted sheriff sales in January, waiting for the program to offer help.
