The number of Philadelphians without health insurance has nearly doubled in the last six years to 160,000. As the U.S. economy continues to downturn, more Philadelphians are likely to lose their access to affordable health benefits as job losses rise.The Philadelphia Unemployment Project's Health Care Navigator is here to help you find the care that you need. The Health Care Navigator will help connect you to free health centers, apply for low-cost insurance and work with hospitals to get you and your family the care you need. Our advice and referrals are free. You have the right to health care and we can help you get it.
The Health Care Navigator is here to answer all your health care access concerns Monday-Friday from 9 am to 5 pm at our Center City location, 112 N. Broad St., 11th Floor or by phone at 215-557-0822.
