The Minimum Wage Is Going Up!

On January 1, 2007 the Pennsylvania Minimum Wage will be increased to $6.25.  (It goes up to $7.15 on July 1, 2007.)

Speakers will include Governor Edward Rendell, Philadelphia AFL-CIO president Pat Eiding, Reverend Randy Barge of Calvin Presbyterian Church, PUP Director John Dodds, low wage worker Kevin Spicer and others.

 

Speakers will include elected officials, labor, religious and community leaders and low wage workers.

We want to make sure that all low wage workers and their employers know that the minimum wage goes up Jan. 1.
